I have not blogged in a million years.

I'm not sure what this is. I've even started a new one, but I'm not sure if I'm going to make it public or not.

A Christmas Briefing

Well, been off from school for a week and it's the day after Christmas. It has been awesome. Coolest week ever, basically. And I have not stopped doing things since I got out of school. I'm honestly kind of exhausted. But I have a ridiculous amount of spending money (that's what I asked for for Christmas) and we're going to Salt Lake next week so I can blow it all on clothes. xD But, let's see...well, here's my week for the last week.

Saturday: Went out for burgers and watched Spaceballs or something stupid like that.
Sunday: Church Christmas program.
Monday: FHE Christmas party.
Tuesday: Went bowling with the ward + Cameron and Ryan.
Wednesday: Went Christmas shopping and partied at my house with everybody.
Thursday: Moped and then cheered up to go play Risk.
Friday: Went to my Aunt's for Christmas Eve.
Christmas: Chilled with my mom, then went to Ryan's with Cameron to watch stupid movies all night.

Anyway, it was fabulous, and I'm quite content. :D

A Gargoyle.

I was recently reminded of a sudden gargoyle attack.

Here, have a photo. I was going back through old photos that my friend had on her Facebook and this one made me happy. xD That's me and my favorite. Yeah, it's fuzzy. But I thought it was worthy of a blog.

In other news, the dead walk the earth.

My Favorite Book, and Taking Better Care of my Body

Okay, so, booktiem. 'Cos all my friends haven't heart me rave about this book for the past year (they have).

It's my favorite book of all time, ever. It's insane. And no one I've given it to has been able to finish it. One or two haven't even been able to start. To quote my old English teacher, "I don't know what it is about it. It's not a bad book. It's just incredibly difficult to finish." I can attest to this. I can finish a good book in a day to a week. At 688 pages, this book is shorter than Deathly Hallows, which took me a week. Never once reading Winter's Tale was I bored; never did I feel like I couldn't read any more. Know how long it took me?

Five months. No, seriously.

The language isn't excessively difficult. It's definitely not grade school level reading, but honestly, by high school you should be used to that. It's nothing compared to scripture or Shakespeare or something like Don Quixote. It's certainly not ridiculous. There's just something about this book that makes it hard to get through. I don't know, I can't explain it. What I can say is that this book means more to me than any other I know. I sleep with it at night. Literally. (I sleep with books. Maybe that's weird. I don't mean on my bedstand. I mean in bed with me. Sometimes I cuddle with them like stuffed animals.)

So anyway, read it, and if you finish it, you'll amaze me.

On another thought, I need to pay more attention to my body. xD So once a year I get bronchitis. Roughly. I've come to almost expect it. So this month, when I had a "cold" for four weeks in a row, maybe something should've clicked in my head. Whatever, it didn't, so I had to wait four weeks for it to get so bad I was incapacitated and then it occurred to me to maybe visit a doctor. Remind me when I start feeling fluish in the spring to go and see a doctor. It's probably the flu.

A few random thangs

So...picking up Pokemon HeartGold today. I feel so nerdy and awesome.

But more importantly, thangs about the way I type. xD I realized that in order to understand the way I type, you have to imagine that everything I say online I'm saying out loud. See, I rarely...if ever, misspell anything. Ever. Unless it's intentional, in which case (like thangs up there) it's meant to be read as if I were saying it just like that. (Common ones: sumthin, srsly, sho, prolly, twu luv, etc.) And uh, just felt like blogging about that, I guess. xD

Foist week of summer.

So I turned sixteen on Tuesday, and I have done something with friends every day this week. Every day. I am so exhausted and totally pumped for the rest of the summer.

Also, have already had two of these. Tiger's Blood snow cones. They seriously make my whole summer, go buy one. Or two. Or five.

Dreaming Awake

I've discovered something strange that I do. It will happen about once every month or two, around one, two, or three in the morning, but not generally before midnight or after four. I will be asleep and dreaming and I'll wake up, and when I wake up I'll be quite tired. And every time I close my eyes I'll start dreaming again, even though I'm awake. I thought maybe it might be those weird sleep hallucinations but it doesn't fit the bill because I don't see things in my room, I close my eyes and just start dreaming. I've had times where it was fun (I know there was at least one, though I couldn't say specifically what it was), times where it was mildly annoying (one night when I kept dreaming I was a model on America's Next Top Model and drama queens were giving me trouble), and, most frequently, times when it's terrifying. See, these things happen most often when I'm stressed about something, when I was obsessing about something during the daytime. I'll go to sleep and still won't be able to get whatever it was off my mind. (The scariest time, however, was one night when I kept hearing voices talking to me and I'd open my eyes and no one was awake, I thought I'd gone crazy and bawled my eyes out.) I'm a bit of an idiot about it because every time it happens I'll just keep closing my eyes, thinking, "THIS time I'll fall asleep for reals." But for whatever reason, it doesn't work. I can keep this up for the better part of an hour. The only way to make it go away is to turn on some lights and actually get up, so I can fall back asleep from the very beginning. I really have no idea why this happens but I wish I could stop it because it drives me freaking crazy.
